R ecently, I have played a subject to a psychology experiment. I think many of you will agree with me that it is a mysterious branch of science (from conscious to hypnotism). And today it's about one of the miracles of our brain " Memory: Thing remembered and forgotten ". So, here are some interesting fact related to the memory. Memory can basically be divided into short term and long term memories (some what similar to the memory of a computer). Short term memory holds information for only 20-30 second, then whoosh! So, you just need to move information from short term to long term. Researchers suggest that a human mind can hold from 5 to 9 discrete thoughts at a time after that your storage system (brain) become overloaded. We Indians truly become patriotic mostly on 2 occasions, firstly off-course because of our Indian army and secondly for Cricket. Women In Blue I'm actually here to applause Indian women cricket team. Probably most of you must have seen world cup final yesterday (or have read about in papers). It was a memorable match with sold out in the stadium and world wide audience of over 100 million (Actor Akshay Kumar was also among the audience to watch the finals). Alas, We fall short of 9 runs in repeating the history of 1983 (P.S- India won 1983's world cup on the grounds of Lords, London only). (Score- India 219/10 and England- 228/7) It was a memorable match, both teams were brilliant. But "kya karein dil toh humara Hindustani hai na," that why I won't praise England on their victory. T oday, I spent almost 3 and 1/2 hours surfing through youtube about just one word "Passion" . It may seem outrageously stupid to you to spend 210 minutes on a single word and I have been lingering over it for almost a year and a half. I didn't want to be a pretend person and I also have recently pledged myself, to live in reality (I have been leading a fantasy life for long enough). So, if I am trying to be honest to myself, then why not to be truthful to others also. I am no philosopher, nor I am a writer (although I fancied being one) neither I am a successful person. In fact, for most of you, I am unemployed & unsuccessful. I didn't get placed in any of the companies that came in my college and its been a year and a half, and I am still couldn't find a job for myself. Writers always fascinate me, some one who can create magic by black dull letters. Colors are always beautiful and inspiring but i am little old school and believe that a writer has power to create and inspire. He can make you laugh and cry in the same line. I always used to worship these writers with a little envy. I used to fantasize about writing someday waiting for my muse but then the mist of fantasy disappeared and i hit the reality.  Life has been kind of bumpy for me, for quiet sometime now. but this time has also given me a strength to see light even in dark. it has made me realize that i am my own muse.  So guys this attempt, a mild hope live my fantasy. And I promise that this won't be all bull and cock story. I'll soon be publishing my first post, I hope i'll get the bite at a cherry, that you will read and most of all like it.
